MEDIA was made alone in different rooms, on whatever equipment was there, and finished rather than polished. Tape does what a mastering engineer would be paid to do — it softens the transients, rolls off the top, and glues ten takes into one plane. The record arrives finished on cassette. Dubbed in real time on the house deck, five tracks a side, hand-labelled. Never sold at the walk; this one exists only here. Numbered, one of five. Ships when made.
